And the winner is ..
The glitterati of the oil and gas industry congregated in the City of London last night at the Banking Hall for the Petroleum Economist Awards. Highlights of the evening were BBC Middle East correspondent Jeremy Bowen‘s assessment of the security situation within the region and it’s impact on the oil and gas business and the Executive of the Year winner the Honourable Kevin Ramnarine Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. I managed to get a ‘selfie’ with the Minister before Anthea Pitt, Executive Editor at Petroleum Economist, presented him with the award but fortunately I was saved embarrassment when Petroleum Economist posted photographs of the event on Flickr this morning!
A big “thank you” to Elliot Thomas for his kind invitation.
